Description

The Bugattis of Jean De Dobbeleer, written by Charles L. Fawcett, introduction by Gene Cesari. In the years following WWII, Jean De Dobbeleer was “Mr. Bugatti.” While the works at Molsheim was waging an unsuccessful struggle to survive, De Dobbeleer was buying Bugattis from all over Europe and selling them worldwide, many to American buyers via Gene Cesari and Lyman Greenlee. De Dobbeleer’s dealership in Brussels became the place to acquire a Bugatti. “The Bugattis of Jean De Dobbeleer” captures a part of this era in over 370 candid photos of Bugattis and other marques at De Dobbeleer’s garage in Brussels. Most of these photos have never before been available to the public, and they should be of great value to Bugatti and auto historians everywhere.Product DetailsYear: 2011Publisher: Kellog Auto Archives LLCFormat: HardcoverLanguage: English
