CAPED LADY – WEIN KERAMOS

Keramos, from Greek mythology, was the son of Ariadne and Dionysus, who became a potter, while his brother Oenopoin produced wine. Over time, the term Keramos has been used for ceramics and making clay pots, and many ceramic shops use the term in their stamps. Chinese style hard porcelain had been made in Vienna since 1719. 

This figure has the stamp of Keramos, as well as Knight and made in Austria. Wien is also stamped, which the mark for Vienna.
